FrameLathe is a Windows desktop app for batch video enhancement. It denoise, remasters, and interpolates on the GPU already in the machine. Footage is not uploaded. There is no cloud processing path. Old home videos — VHS or MiniDV transfers, camcorder captures, phone clips — are the usual job: files already on disk, not a tape the app captures. Digitise analog tape first, then drop the folder.
There is no public download yet. Join the waitlist and we will email once when the Windows installer is ready.
The loop
- Drop videos or a folder onto the queue.
- Answer three questions about the footage: what is wrong with it, where it is going, and how long it can take — Quick (~40 minutes), Full (~4 hours), or Best possible. The door picks a preset from those answers. Show the recipe opens the rail on exactly that.
- Start the batch. Review a wipe in the morning: Approve, Flag, or change the recipe and run again.
The GPU can work while you are away. That overnight run is a first-class mode. The three time chips are not named lunch, overnight, or weekend — see Quick / Full / Best possible.
What you need
- A Windows PC. macOS is not produced or tested.
- A GPU helps every preset. Remaster needs an NVIDIA CUDA card and enough VRAM — see Remaster and hardware.
- Model weights and the optional GPU add-on pack download only when you ask.
Read install, then presets. If something fails before Start, expand the row and use Copy for support in the desktop app. Do not send footage to the website assistant.
