FrameLathe

Docs

FrameLathe is a Windows desktop queue. These pages describe the shipping intent door, presets, Review, error codes, and the network allowlist — not unreleased design spikes.

  • Getting started

Drop files in, answer three questions, start the batch. FrameLathe runs on the GPU in your Windows PC.

  • Install

FrameLathe ships as a signed Windows installer. The site waitlist does not download the app.

  • Presets

Denoise, Export Ready, Remaster, Smooth 60 fps, and advanced Clean 8K. The intent door picks one. There is no Remaster+CUDA preset tile.

  • Remaster

Remaster is temporal 4K upscale (RealBasicVSR). It needs NVIDIA CUDA, VSR weights, and about 12 GB of VRAM.

  • The queue

Drop a folder, answer three questions, let the GPU work the batch. Review takes in the morning.

  • Review

Judge a delivered take. Wipe, Approve, Flag, Open folder. Export a comparison MP4. Compose stays on the queue.

  • Hardware

Local GPU on Windows. Remaster needs NVIDIA CUDA. Other presets can fall back to ncnn or CPU.

  • Models

Model Hub is a registry of stage slots. Upscale, Denoise, and Matting accept import. Colorize stays first-party. Face restore and object removal are not offered.

  • Troubleshooting

Preflight warnings, Remaster VRAM, denoise fallback, and Copy for support. Do not upload footage to the website.

  • Error codes

Meanings for the code: line in Copy for support. Paste that text into the site assistant.

  • What leaves the machine

Video is processed locally. The app’s network use is updates, licence activation, optional GPU pack, requested weights, and the Model Hub index.
