FrameLatheCompare
DaVinci Resolve Studio is an editing, color, effects, and audio-finishing application. Studio adds the DaVinci Neural Engine and extra Resolve FX, including Super Scale and AI UltraNR. Blackmagic lists Studio at US$295 one-time on the product page (18 September 2026). A free Resolve still exists. Check Blackmagic.
FrameLathe is not that suite. It will not replace your timeline. It is the Windows machine you start before bed: named presets, a folder queue, local GPU, Review in the morning. Many people will own both. Footage is not uploaded. There is no cloud processing path.

We will not invent a quality-score win against Super Scale. The contrast we will stand behind is the loop: queue overnight, judge a wipe, export it as a comparison MP4 if someone needs to see it, keep the recipe.
