DaVinci Resolve Studio is an editing, color, effects, and audio-finishing application. Studio adds the DaVinci Neural Engine and extra Resolve FX, including Super Scale and AI UltraNR. Blackmagic lists Studio at US$295 one-time on the product page (18 September 2026). A free Resolve still exists. Check Blackmagic.

FrameLathe is not that suite. It will not replace your timeline. It is the Windows machine you start before bed: named presets, a folder queue, local GPU, Review in the morning. Many people will own both. Footage is not uploaded. There is no cloud processing path.

The contrast worth standing behind is not a benchmark table, it is the loop: queue a folder overnight, judge a wipe in the morning, export it as a before/after video if someone needs to see it, and keep the recipe rather than a second copy of the video.
