Most enhancement UIs optimize the first clip. You drop one file, watch a spinner, download a result, repeat. That is fine for a trailer. It is a bad fit for last weekend’s captures, a VHS transfer session, or a folder you do not want to babysit.

FrameLathe treats the queue as the product. The door asks what’s wrong, where it’s going, and how long it can take — Quick, Full, or Best possible. You start the batch and come back. Review is a wipe across takes, not a re-upload.

Cloud tabs cannot pretend to be that workstation without taking the files. Full NLEs can, but they are editors first. The comparison we will stand behind is the shape of the job: local GPU, Windows installer, overnight queue. Quality bragging rights wait on measurements we have actually run.
